After this walk on the glamorous side we headed to the launch of Monsieur Baron shirt collection at Kitts members club in trendy Chelsea. Although the venues and vibes could not be more different, Kitts was more relaxed, intimate and boujis, the atmosphere and turnout was equally as impressive. The self-professed business shirts' label clearly has a following in the City of London. Monsieur Baron began tailoring shirts for the world's top fashion houses over twenty years ago and quickly became known for its sharp tailoring, quality fabrics and durability of product. The shock of the evening was that women modelled the menswear brand complete with suspenders, fishnet tights, trilby and saxophones. The cut and tailoring was sharp and staunchly stated the brands' quality and durability in a digestible palette of sky blues, white and a combination stripe of the two. Upon close inspection detail included real mother of pearl buttons, classic collars and clever movable bones. The unique selling point of this collection, semi fitted cut and fabric choices of poplin, twill and chambray aside, is that Monsieur Baron integrates the latest innovations in fabric nano-technology to enhance comfort, breathability and performance.
